About Jaglicious

Jaglicious was born from a simple idea: everyday sweetness can be more thoughtful, more flavourful, and more transparent.

We started with Khajur Gud — Date Palm Jaggery from Bengal, also written Khejur Gur. Nolen Gur is a term commonly used for fresh or new-season date palm jaggery in Bengal. It is a traditional Indian sweetener loved for its deep caramel-like taste and seasonal heritage. Instead of treating it as something used only in winter sweets, we bring that flavour into products people eat every day: chocolates, cookies, jars, sachets, tea, coffee, milk, desserts and family snacks.

Our products are built around taste first. Better ingredients should not mean boring food. Jaglicious combines familiar formats with the rich sweetness of date palm jaggery — foods that feel indulgent, modern, and rooted in Indian tradition.

Why Khajur Gud?

Khajur Gud has a flavour refined sugar cannot do: warm, smoky, caramel-like, with a depth plain sugar simply does not have. It has been cherished in Eastern India for generations and is closely associated with Bengal's winter food culture.

We use it to reimagine everyday sweetness across chocolates, cookies, and sweetener formats.

We make it ourselves

Our team works directly with khejur tapping, jaggery production and packing in Murshidabad, West Bengal. We stay close to the process from sap collection through cooking, testing and final packing so we can control the product more closely.

A note on terminology: our packs say Khajur Gud. You may also see Date Palm Jaggery written as Khejur Gur or Khejur Gud. Nolen Gur refers more specifically to fresh or new-season date palm jaggery in Bengal.
